Bigtooth Fishing Tackle was developed by big fish enthusiasts Jeff Andersen and Josh Kragthorpe.  They spend countless hours in search of catching big walleyes, pike and muskies thoughout the season.  Both, Jeff and Josh, were never satisfied with the tackle made available so they made their own tackle in their basements.  Bigtooth Tackle was then developed.  

In the beginning; The "Natural" quick-strike rig was the first piece of tackle developed. They decided to put the "Natural" rig in the hands of some avid anglers.  The anglers put the "Natural" rig through grueling tests catching big fish.  Jeff and Josh had several requests for the "Natural" rig again and again.  With all the angling success they knew they had to put them into a local bait shop so everyone could have access to a premium quick-strike rig.  The first year the "Natural" quick-strike rig was the number one product sold in Taber's Bait in Bemidji, MN excluding bait.  Now the "Natural" quick-strike rig is in several bait shops and tackle stores and catching monster fish all over the frozen lake states and Canada.

 

In 2008 we designed the "Finesse" Rig for smaller bait options and the "In-Line" Rig for pulling large bait in open water.  More details coming soon!
